Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Zanzibar → Transfer to Paje

  • Meet & greet at ZNZ Airport/Ferry and private transfer to your Paje hotel.

  • Afternoon beach time; sunset along the south-east coast.

  • Overnight in Paje.

  • Relax on powdery sands and warm lagoons.

  • Optional (extra): kitesurf lesson, SUP, or dhow sunset at nearby Michamvi.

  • Overnight in Paje.

  • Morning Stone Town walking tour: alleys, markets, Old Fort, waterfront.

  • Afternoon spice farm visit with tastings.

  • Return to Paje; evening at leisure.

  • Overnight in Paje.

  • Transfer to Fumba for a traditional dhow to sandbanks and lagoons (often called “Safari Blue”).

  • Snorkeling, tropical fruits, seafood BBQ (or dietary alternative), and island time.

  • Return to Paje late afternoon.

  • Overnight in Paje.

  • Guided walk in Jozani-Chwaka Bay to see red colobus monkeys and boardwalks in the mangroves.

  • Afternoon free on the beach.

  • Chill day or optional (extra): Blue Lagoon snorkel near Dongwe and photo stop at The Rock.

  • Sunset stroll; beachside dinner.
